The Roberta Bondar Foundation is proud to introduce our Camp of the Week. Camp Otterdale has done a great job of integrating the 2015 Summer Camp Bondar Challenge into their camp program. The Bondar Challenge is even given a spot on their activity sign-up wall (see below). We are excited to see what campers have captured this summer!
From Camp Otterdale:
“The Bondar program has been in full swing at Otterdale for four summers now, and is better than ever this year. We have returning campers who, having been involved with Bondar in previous summers, are now mentoring the new faces, as well as developing and improving upon their own photography skills.
We have over 200 acres of untouched forests and waterfront to explore and capture, and we run Bondar for three periods every day, giving every camper the opportunity to sign up and try it.
As well as wandering the grounds and the surrounding woodland on foot, we often organize special day trips to marshes and local water sheds in canoes to give the campers the chance for a change of scenery – as well as some killer wildlife shots.
We have campers of all ages and genders participating in the Bondar challenge, creating a very diverse blend of perspective and style. The three pictures we have included were taken by Chloe (F) – age 10, Ella (F) – age 7 and Andreas (M) – age 15.”
