What attracted me to take my photograph was: the light, texture, colours, and insect. I thought it was interesting to have a bee in a picture because they are always moving. I took this because the colour of the bee shows up well against the green – good contrast.
To make my photograph appealing I used: Light that seemed special, Texture, Rule of thirds, Focal point of interest, Colour combinations, Depth of field.
A question I have about the subject of my photograph is: Why is the bee here? Is there a flower nearby? Is it just resting?
To improve my photo, I would change my position slightly or move my camera so the subject is less centred.
