Deferred Gifts: The Foundation is fortunate to have recently received gifts to fund the future through planned giving – a bequest in your Will arranged as part of your estate plan for use by The Roberta Bondar Foundation at some point in the future. A charitable bequest is treated for tax purposes, as a gift made in the year of your final tax return. These types of gifts receive a tax receipt and credit that can be used to offset taxes to a maximum of 100% of net income in the year of your passing.
Charitable Gifts: Making gifts of cash, life insurance, gift annuities or charitable trusts can offer you a way to help offset taxes.
