The Roberta Bondar Foundation Bondar Challenge Awards

The Roberta Bondar Foundation recognizes creativity and artistic vision in a fusion of photographic art and the natural environment. It awards various levels of accomplishment and prizes to juried photographs from each Bondar Challenge. A Bondar Challenge may take place in settings such as a Summer Camp, Wilderness Camp, or School.

These winning images are celebrated at the end of each judging process on this website. A selection of the winning entries will be framed and become part of the Foundation’s Travelling Exhibition and Learning Experience.

 

NGO Bondar Challenge Winners

The Roberta Bondar Foundation also works with NGO corporations and organizations who wish to run one of the Bondar Challenges for their youth. Guidelines, Rules, and Judging panels remain the same. The Roberta Bondar Foundation also provides assistance as requested to ensure a meaningful challenge for every participant.

Canadian Bondar Challenge

The Canadian Bondar Challenge is a photo-contest for Canadian youth ages 13 – 18, occurring in August 2014. This challenge encourages young Canadians to appreciate and capture the beauty of the natural world around them. At the end of each week in August (each Friday), youth are encouraged to submit one photograph that demonstrates the weekly theme along with a mini-essay (max. 200 words) explaining their image and why they chose it.

Partner Corporate Awards

The Roberta Bondar Foundation also works with corporate partners who wish to develop an award for a participant across various Bondar Challenges. The organization chooses its own blue ribbon panel of judges from within its staff or membership, and applies guidelines for judging provided by The Foundation that also provides assistance as required. Each corporate award is specifically designed by the corporation in partnership with The Roberta Bondar Foundation.
